the first post: what do we know?

hey students: here we go. we get a blog. i get a blog. i've never had one of these before, so i'll be learning how to do this along the way, and you'll be learning things about me, too. for example, what have you learned so far?

that's right. i don't like using caps in casual written correspondence, like emails and blog posts. wow. that's interesting, right? (or, as my 2-year old would say, maybe not.)

so here's how this blog will work: one blog for my three comp classes. when i have something to say to all three classes, i will just write a post, and you will read it. when i have something specific to say to one class only, i will be specific about which class i'm writing to in the title of the post, so you will know from the title whether or not you need to read the post.

please bookmark this page and check it every day--i may post important information, assignments, reminders, links, and readings here. i will occasionally require you to comment, and you are always welcome to comment on any post.

in fact, let's do this: let's everyone post a comment in which we share one thing that we think no one else at sunyit knows about us. remember to include your name in your comment. here's my thing: i have acted in many plays (10 maybe?), but i have forgotten my lines once every time.
